As a founder of Jinkumjae, Semin Jin totally went out of his way to create new way of training Kumdo, undoubtedly respecting succeeded traditions that Korean Kumdo superiors have been keeping.
What he keeps saying is, "If I manage the dojo with perfection both in operation system and the quality of each classes, then our member will recognize it. I have seen our members started to respect our dojo and the instructor as well, it's not to say they will do their best to make their skills better."
So what he is making his best effort for is, to make a perfect system to manage dojo, at the same time, to be the best instructor that members would love to learn from.
He keeps practice 3~4 hours a day, even though he should deal with all administrative jobs to keep 140+ members of dojo every month.
As a player, he won couple of prizes in the most significant competitions for amateur Kumdo players in Korea.
